Local 102 Sponsors Recent NJBIA Events - (4/27/2016)

Local 102 was a lead sponsor at several recent NJBIA events. At Raritan Valley Community College we took part in NJBIA's first Workforce Development Conference. A packed room listened in on speakers from various industries who discussed their needs for the workforce of tomorrow. Local 102 received recognition for its work with the community colleges and state universities.

That same week we sponsored a Meet the Decision Maker Breakfast which featured Assembly Speaker Prieto. Speaker Prieto spoke on the upcoming budget along with the ongoing situation regarding casinos in Northern NJ. We thank the Speaker for his time as he spoke for approximately 30 minutes and then went on to a question and answer session.

We also sponsored an event at our office in Parsippany. FEMA came in as part of a series of educational seminars. The series aims at educating the business community on their options and outlined the services FEMA provides in the aftermath of a disaster.
